Abstract:
This image forming device (1) comprises: an image carrier (331); a transfer member (35); a holding member (81) for holding the transfer member; a pressing member (83) for making the transfer member contact and separate from the image carrier by changing position between a first position and a second position; movable first moving member (325) and second moving member (10P1); and a first linking mechanism (33T) and second linking mechanism (10Q). The first linking mechanism and second linking mechanism press on the pressing member by moving in conjunction with the first moving member and second moving member so as to change the position of the pressing member. The pressing member is provided with a first pressed part (83P1), which is pressed by the first linking mechanism, and a second pressed part (83P2), which is pressed by the second linking mechanism.
