Abstract:
This image-forming device is provided with: a liquid discharge unit (4Y-4K) that is attachable to and detachable from a device body and that has a storage container (40) capable of storing a liquid developer containing a toner and a carrier liquid and a discharge pipe section (51) having formed therein a discharge port (52) for discharging the liquid developer from within the storage container (40); and a linking unit (81) that has an insertion section (83) in which the discharge pipe section (51) is inserted, a receiving section (82) which receives the liquid developer dropping from the discharge port (52) of the inserted discharge pipe (51), and an abutment member (91) that is disposed on the upstream side of the discharge port (52) of the discharge pipe (51) inserted in a direction in which the discharge pipe (51) is inserted and that abuts at least the lower end of the inserted discharge pipe (51) in the direction of gravitational force, wherein a lateral surface of the abutment member (91) on the downstream side in the insertion direction forms a guide surface for guiding the liquid developer to the receiving section (82).
