The present invention is provided with a development container (32) to which a supplement container (40) can be detachably attached and which has an accommodating part (36) for rotatably supporting a developing agent carrier (31) and accommodating a developing agent carried by the developing agent carrier (31), and a loading part (81) that loads recording media discharged outside the machine, wherein: the development container (32) has a protruding part (37) that is provided on one end section in the rotation axis direction of the developing agent carrier (31) and protrudes more than the center section of the development container (32) toward the loading part (81) in a direction crossing the rotation axis direction; the protruding part (37) communicates with the accommodating part (36) and has an attachment part (57) configured so that the supplement container (40) can be attached to the tip section thereof in a state of being exposed to the outside of the device; and the attachment part (57) has a supplement port (32a) formed therein to supplement a developing agent from the supplement container (40) to the accommodating part (36).
