Abstract:
This imaging-forming device is provided with a restricting mechanism that restricts the movement of a pin (59) in an imaging unit within a slotted hole (15) in a console. The restricting mechanism is provided with: a pressing lever (83) that is turnable from a state of abutting on the pin (59) in the slotted hole (15), in a direction of parting away from the slotted hole (15); an opening/closing lever (85) that turns attendant on the operation of closing a cover (7); and an elastic member (87) that is disposed between the pressing lever (83) and the opening/closing lever (85) in an elastically deformed state and that applies a load on the pressing lever (83) in a direction opposite from the parting-away direction. When the cover (7) is open, the elastic member (87) applies a first load to the pressing lever (53), and when the cover (7) is shut, the opening/closing lever (85) turns to further elastically deform the elastic member (87), applying a second load greater than the first load on the pressing lever (85).
