Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a camerawork information extraction unit (315) that extracts imaging information of a captured image; a composition information calculation unit (1316) that provisionally determines a cut-out frame for cutting out a new image from the captured image and the imaging information on the basis of restriction conditions, and determines the cut-out frame in a manner so that changes between frames, which are the units of each panel of an image from the provisional cut-out frame, are smooth changes; and a composition information shaping unit (317) that cuts out a new image from the captured image using the cut-out frame, converting the result to a predetermined size. By means of such a configuration, even if there was no mature imaging technique or the like during image capture, the image newly generated from the captured image is favorable and is pleasant to look at by an observer, and in particular is a smooth and more natural image.
