Abstract:
With respect to a space which includes an object 24 to be displayed, reference viewpoints 28a – 28e are set, and images of the space as seen from each of the reference viewpoints are created as reference images. Meanwhile, when determining each pixel value of a display image from a virtual camera 30, the reference image is selected in which a point 26 upon the object 24 which a pixel of interest represents appears as an image, and the value of said pixel is composed using a rule that is based on, for instance, a position relation among the reference viewpoints 28a, 28b and the virtual camera 30.
