Abstract:
The present invention provides an image generation method and apparatus and a computer device. The method comprises: acquiring YUV grayscale image data of an image; converting the YUV grayscale image data into RGB color image data according to a conversion rule; storing the RGB color image data and a corresponding cache tag in a pre-established cache pool; and when an image needs to be previewed for multiple times, searching the cache pool for RGB color image data corresponding to a specified cache tag, and generating an image according to the RGB color image data. In this way, RGB color image data is stored in a pre-established cache pool, and when the image needs to be previewed for multiple times, the RGB color image data can be read from the cache pool according to the specified cache tag each time. Thus, it does not need to convert YUV grayscale image data into RGB color image data each time when previewing an image, thereby reducing the conversion frequency and prolonging the service life of a device.
