Disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention are an image generation method, apparatus and device based on an LCD multi-wafer board, and a storage medium. A camera and an LCD multi-wafer board associated with the camera are comprised, wherein the LCD multi-wafer board is arranged between a lens of the camera and an image sensor, or the lens of the camera is arranged between the LCD multi-wafer board and the image sensor. The method comprises: determining a corresponding illumination adjustment strategy in the current image generation scenario (S101); and according to the illumination adjustment strategy, controlling an LCD multi-wafer board to control the intensity of light passing therethrough, such that the adjusted light is sensed by an image sensor, so as to generate an image (S102). By means of the present solution, dynamic adjustment of the brightness of a captured image is realized, a photographing function is expanded, and an image with a better effect can be obtained; moreover, the installation of a hardware device is facilitated.
