Abstract:
Provided are an image information processing method and an augmented reality (AR) device (100). The method comprises: acquiring, by an AR device (100), a first image of an image comprising a target object (300) (S301); detecting, by the AR device (100), an environment parameter of the AR device (100) based on the first image (S302); determining, by the AR device (100), a crop ratio coefficient of the first image based on the environment parameter (S303); cropping, by the AR device (100), the first image based on the crop ratio coefficient to obtain a second image (S304, S409, S509, S609); extracting, by the AR device (100), and from the second image, M profile feature points of the target object (300) in the remaining portion of the image to generate an AR image of the target object (300) (S305, S410, S510, S610); and displaying, by the AR device (100), the AR image on a front windshield (200) of an automobile (S306). This method is advantageous for a driver to fully and clearly acquire movements in his/her field of view, thereby improving driving safety.
