Abstract:
In the present invention, an image pickup device is provided with a first emission unit (104) for emitting near infrared light towards the surface of the driver's face from a forward lower-side, and a second emission unit (204) for emitting near infrared light from above. When a sunvisor (300, 400, 500) is in a storage position where sunlight is not blocked, the second emission unit is disposed in a position such that the unit is covered by the sunvisor. The portion of the sunvisor, which is in the storage position, that covers the second emission unit is formed of a material that blocks visible light from sunlight and allows near infrared light to pass.
