Abstract:
Disclosed is an image pickup device (50) provided with an image pickup element (1) which generates image data (21) in response to incident light, a compression unit (3) which generates compressed data (23) by compressing image data (22) into a fixed-length code, a decompression unit (4) which generates partially decompressed data (32A) by decompressing only designated data (40) that is part of the compressed data (23), a camera signal processing unit (5) which generates partially corrected image data (33A) by subjecting the partially decompressed data (32A) to image quality correction, and a video encoder (8) which displays the partially corrected image data (33A).
