Abstract:
Provided is an image pickup element provided with: two first pixels which are disposed continuously in a first direction and detect light of a first color; two second pixels which are disposed continuously in a second direction crossing the first direction and adjacent to the two first pixels, and detect light of a second color; a plurality of first light receiving regions divided in the first direction, which are disposed in the first pixel and receive the light of the first color; and a plurality of second light receiving regions divided in the second direction, which are disposed in the second pixel and receive the light of the second color.
