Abstract:
An image pickup element comprising a light-receiving element that receives incident light, a plurality of voltage signal generation units that acquire the charge of the light-receiving element at a plurality of charge acquisition timings and convert the charge into a plurality of voltage signals, and a pixel output unit that outputs a plurality of detection voltages based on the plurality of voltage signals, the image pickup element further comprising a plurality of pixel memories that cause a plurality of memory cells to integrate and store the plurality of detection voltages relating to the plurality of charge acquisition timings, wherein the pixel output unit reads and outputs the detection voltages stored in the plurality of memory cells.
