Abstract:
Provided is an image pickup lens unit manufacturing method capable of suppressing deformation of a lens caused by molding a holder. A resinous holder member (40) in which a lens (10) is positioned and held can be formed. In this case, there is a possibility that the surfaces of first and second lens layers (12, 13) of the lens (10) are deformed by dies (51, 52) and thereby, as such distortion as affects first and second optical surfaces (12d, 13e) of the first and second lens layers (12, 13), a depression (12r) or the like remains in the first and second lens layers (12, 13), but since the abovementioned distortion can be relieved by heat-treating the lens (10) and the holder member (40), the first and second optical surfaces (12d, 13e) of the lens (10) can be restored to a state having an approximately original optical accuracy.
