Provided is an image processing apparatus which generates a display image for display in a display system having a display, characterized by the display having positioned therein a plurality of flat display screens which can display images, and the image processing apparatus having a generating means which generates a plurality of display images for each of a plurality of flat images from a single input image, on the basis of the relation between the viewpoint position and each of the plurality of flat images.
