Abstract:
Provided are an image processing device, an image capturing device, a program, an image processing method, and the like, which enable acquisition of a high-resolution image from a low-resolution moving image by simple processing. The image processing device includes a storage unit, an interpolation processing unit, an estimation operation unit, and an image output unit. The light reception value (a-2, -2 ~ a22) of a light reception unit is read, and a low-resolution frame image is acquired. The storage unit stores the low-resolution frame image. The interpolation processing unit finds the light reception value (a10, a01, a11) of a virtual light reception unit by interpolation processing based on the light reception value (a-2, -2 ~ a22). The estimation operation unit estimates an estimated pixel value with a smaller pitch than that of the low-resolution frame image on the basis of the light reception value (a00) of the light reception unit and the light reception value (a10, a01, a11) of the virtual light reception unit. The image output unit outputs a high-resolution frame image having higher resolution than the low-resolution frame image on the basis of the estimated pixel value.
