Abstract:
In a depth image compression unit 54a of this image processing device, a depth image computation unit 70 generates a depth image by computation using a captured stereo image 80. A difference image acquisition unit 72 generates a difference image 84 between a measured depth image 82 and the computed depth image. In a depth image expansion unit 62a of this content processing device, a depth image computation unit 74 generates a depth image by computation using the transmitted stereo image 80. A difference image addition unit 76 adds the computed depth image to the transmitted difference image 84 to restore a depth image 86.
