Abstract:
Provided are an image processing device, a control method and a control program that can more accurately remove seal stamp components from an input image including a seal stamp. An image processing device comprises: an acquisition unit that acquires an input image; a detection unit that detects a seal stamp area corresponding to the seal stamp in the input image; a calculation unit that calculates a seal stamp color ratio for each of a plurality of pixels in the seal stamp area; a background information generation unit that generates background information; a seal-stamp-removed image generation unit that generates a seal-stamp-removed image in which seal stamp components are removed from the input image by combining each pixel in the seal stamp area and background information corresponding to that each pixel on the basis of the seal stamp color ratio; and an output unit that outputs the seal-stamp-removed image or information generated by use of the seal-stamp-removed image.
