Abstract:
Provided are an image processing device, a display apparatus, an image processing method, and a program which enable comfortable visual recognition by a user even when a visual field area rapidly changes by a panning operation or a tilt operation while a moving image is being captured. An image capturing device (1) is provided with: an image synthesis unit (163) which, when a motion determination unit (162) determines that the visual field area of an image capturing unit (10) has changed, generates synthetic image data that is obtained by superimposing and synthesizing overlapping areas in respective image capture areas of a plurality of images corresponding to the plurality of pieces of image data along a change direction in which the visual field area of the image capturing unit changes; and a display control unit (164) which causes a display unit (12) to display a synthetic image corresponding to the synthetic image data generated by the image synthesis unit (163).
