Title:
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/132194
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Progressive mesh segmentation matching interactive applications is carried out at high speed with high accuracy. An image processing device (10) comprises an image information input section (1) for inputting three-dimensional image information to be processed in the form of adjacent graph, and adjacent graph evaluating section (2) for evaluating the edges of the inputted adjacent graph to perform sorting, and image region integrating section (3) for extracting pairs of image regions on both sides of the edge in the order of the sorting and evaluating them according to a statistic processing algorithm to carry out integration, and a small region processing section (4) for processing small regions left as a result of the integration of the image regions.
