Abstract:
A storage unit stores a time sequence of a plurality of images taken of a subject when the subject is instructed to change the orientation of their face. An action identification unit extracts a face region from each of the plurality of images, derives a pixel value change characteristic of a plurality of pixels arranged in a prescribed direction in the face region, and identifies an action by the subject on the basis of a chronological change in the change characteristic derived from each of the plurality of images. A determination unit determines the authenticity of the subject on the basis of the action by the subject.
