Abstract:
This disclosure relates to an image processing device and method that enable suppression of a reduction in subjective image quality. On the basis of an individual blurring amount indicating the magnitude of optical blurring occurring in each projected image projected from each of a plurality of projection units, and an overlap blurring amount indicating the magnitude of optical blurring occurring by overlap of the plurality of projected images, an inverse filter of a filter for converting an input image to be projected by the plurality of projection units into the projected images projected by the plurality of projection units is generated, and a phase image is generated by converting the input image using the generated inverse filter. This disclosure is applicable, for example, to image processing devices, image projection devices, control devices, information processing devices, projection imaging systems, image processing methods or programs.
