Abstract:
The present technology relates to an image processing device and an image processing method with which it is possible to simplify a process. When performing a matrix intra-prediction which is an intra-prediction using a matrix operation on the current predictive block to be encoded/decoded, a matrix intra-prediction is performed using a shift amount set to a fixed value and a predictive image of the current predictive block is generated. Then, the current predictive block is encoded/decoded using the predictive image. The present technology can be applied, for example, when image encoding and decoding are performed.
