Abstract:
The present invention provides an image processing device enabling expeditious authentication processing without the need to possess a radio tag, and a technology related to the image processing device. The image processing device authenticates a person in first authentication processing by matching face image information of the person included in at least one first captured image, against face image information of a large number of persons registered in advance (one-to-many authentication). In subsequent second authentication processing, the image processing device authenticates a person U1 to be authenticated included in a second captured image 210 captured later than one or a plurality of the first captured images by matching face image information related to a face image 220 of the person U1 to be authenticated, against face image information related to a face image (121 to 125) of at least one person (for example, U1 to U5) authenticated by the first authentication processing.
