Abstract:
An image processing device equipped with: an indicator calculation unit which, for each of a plurality of captured images obtained by sequentially capturing an imaging subject, calculates an assessment indicator functioning as an indicator of the suitability of the state of capture for each partial image corresponding to a different region of the imaging subject in the captured images; an image selection unit for selecting a plurality of partial images that correspond to the different regions of the imaging subject from the plurality of captured images, according to the assessment indicator for each partial image; and an image combination unit for combining the plurality of partial images selected by the image selection unit in the locations that correspond to said partial images in a reference image obtained by imaging the imaging subject.
