Abstract:
In this image processing device, a first color balance processing unit (33) performs color-balance correction of a processing signal corresponding to an inside-body image to be displayed. Concurrent with this process, a second color balance processing unit (34) performs color-balance correction of a processing signal input from an imaging signal acquiring unit (31) to generate an image signal. A detecting unit (35) detects signals corresponding to a plurality of color components included in the image signal, and a computing unit successively calculates color-balance parameters for performing the color-balance corrections, on the basis of detection results. A parameter selecting unit makes a selection from the color-balance parameters in accordance with the presence or absence of a freeze instruction signal.
