Abstract:
When a first expansion/compression process and rotation process is implemented on image data, followed by a second expansion/compression process and rotation process being implemented on the post-processed image data, the information required for a third expansion/compression process and rotation process which integrates the abovementioned processes is collectively calculated from the information required for the first expansion/compression process and rotation process, and the information required for the second expansion/compression process and rotation process by expansion/compression processing (105) and rotation/phase shift processing (107). Thus, while restricting the memory capacity a small amount, faster image processing can be achieved without a deterioration of image quality.
