The present invention relates to a method for operating an electronic device (1) characterized in that it comprises the steps of: determining (a), by means of a processing unit (11) of the electronic device (1), that a selected image represents at least one target person; and proposing (b), by means of a user interface (13) of said electronic device (1), to share said selected image with a device (3) used by said target person.
