Abstract:
This imaging control device comprises: a region division unit (50) that divides a captured image into a plurality of regions; a luminance value calculation unit (52) that calculates an average luminance value for each region divided by the region division unit (50); a region identification unit (54) that identifies regions for which the average luminance value calculated by the luminance value calculation unit (52) is greater than or equal to a pre-set threshold value; a photometry range setting unit (56) that, if the average luminance value of a region identified by the region identification unit (54) is greater than or equal to the threshold value for a period which is not less than a first prescribed time but less than a second prescribed time, sets the region identified by the region identification unit as a new photometry range; and a signal processing unit (58) that performs automatic imaging control with respect to the new photometry range set by the photometry range setting unit (56).
