Abstract:
An imaging device (100) is provided with a lens driver (7) for driving a focus lens and a zoom lens included in a lens unit (1) independently of each other, an AF evaluation value calculation part (12) for calculating an AF evaluation value using an image signal converted from light transmitted through the lens unit (1), and an AF control part (13) for instructing the lens driver (7) to drive the focus lens and instructing the AF evaluation value calculation part (12) to calculate an AF evaluation value and thereby executing AF control using the AF evaluation value calculated during driving of the focus lens, the AF control part (13) instructing the lens driver (7) to drive the focus lens at a speed corresponding to the position of the zoom lens in AF control.
