Abstract:
An imaging device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is provided with: a first semiconductor substrate (100) including a pixel which comprises a photoelectric conversion element (PD) and a floating diffusion (FD) for temporarily holding charges output from the photoelectric conversion element (PD); and a semiconductor layer (200Y) which is provided on the first semiconductor substrate (100) with an insulating film (123) therebetween, and includes a reading circuit portion (539) for reading the charges held in the floating diffusion (FD) and outputting a pixel signal. The semiconductor layer (200Y) is made of an organic semiconductor material.
