Abstract:
An imaging device 1 comprises: a drive unit 5 for moving a focus lens 2a; a focus adjustment unit 4 for determining a focusing state and outputting a focus adjustment signal that indicates a focusing position for the focus lens; a control unit 6 for controlling the drive unit 5 on the basis of the focus adjustment signal; an acceleration detection unit 20 for detecting the acceleration along each of three orthogonal axes; a distance calculation unit 23 for calculating an acceleration component in the optical axis direction on the basis of the acceleration along each of the three orthogonal axes detected by the acceleration detection unit 20, and calculating subject distance corresponding to the focusing position indicated by the focus adjustment signal on the basis of the acceleration component in the optical axis direction; and an image shake correction unit for correcting an image shake due to a translational shake along each of at least two orthogonal axes that are orthogonal to the optical axis on the basis of the subject distance calculated by the distance calculation unit 23 and the acceleration along each of the three orthogonal axes detected by the acceleration detection unit 20.
