Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an imaging device and an operation method of the imaging device that enables suppression of the mutual mismatch of setting values in the signal processing executed by an image sensor and by a companion chip. The image sensor stores, into image data, and outputs, to the companion chip, identification information for identifying a setting value used in the signal processing of the image data, while the companion chip reads the identification information stored in the image data and implements a second signal processing of the image data by use of the setting value corresponding to the identification information. The present disclosure can be applied to imaging devices.
