Abstract:
An imaging device includes: an optical system (1) for forming an image of light from
an object, at a predetermined position; an imaging element (2) for obtaining an
image of the object; a display unit (10) for displaying the object; an imaging instruction
unit (release button (8)) having a focus detection non-operation state and a
focus detection operation state and instructing imaging of the object; and a
control unit for performing control so that an image of the focus detection non-operation
state is displayed in the display unit (10) when the imaging instruction unit
(release button (8)) is in the focus detection operation state.
