Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an imaging device having improved detection accuracy of the state of an object person.
An imaging device 12 is provided with: an imaging optical system 22 that forms an optical image of the face of an object person in a vehicle; an imaging element 23 that captures an image of the formed optical image and generates a captured image; and an image processing unit 25 that determines the state of the object person on the basis of the captured image. When an F value of the imaging optical system 22 is denoted by F, a focal length thereof is denoted by f, and a pixel pitch of the imaging element 23 is denoted by p, F≥0.0003f2/p is satisfied.
