Abstract:
The present disclosure pertains to an imaging device capable of recording video data by capturing imaging subjects. A setting unit of the imaging device receives a first setting for setting the display of a level meter (201) to ON or OFF on a display unit (190) and a second setting for setting a mute function to ON or OFF, the mute function being for recording audio indicated as soundless. A control unit of the imaging device is configured so as to cause the level meter (201) and/or a mute indicator (202) to be displayed on the display unit (190) during the video capture if the first setting has the display of the level meter (201) set to OFF and the second setting has the mute function set to ON.
