Abstract:
According to the present invention, power consumption can be reduced in a charge pump supplying drive power to a pixel array. An imaging element (4) according to the present disclosure comprises: an imaging unit (100) in which pixels (10) including a light-receiving element are arranged; a drive unit (112) which generates a drive signal for driving the pixels; a charge pump circuit (122) which generates power for driving the drive unit; and a control unit (120) which, in accordance with the operation of the imaging unit, controls the driving capability by which the charge pump circuit drives the drive unit.
