Abstract:
Provided are an imaging lens which has a small F number, a wide angle and can achieve high resolution with excellent aberration correction from the visible range to the near infrared range, and an imaging device which is provided with this imaging lens. The imaging lens has, in order from the object side, a front group (Ga) having a negative refractive power, an aperture (St), and a back group (Gb) having a positive refractive power. The front group (Ga) is formed from, in order from the object side, a front group negative lens group (GaN) formed from two or more negative lenses and a front group positive lens group (GaP) that includes one negative lens and one positive lens, with the positive lens disposed on the object-most side, and that has a positive refractive power. The back group (Gb) has one negative lens and one positive lens. Letting Nan and νan be the index of refraction for line d of the negative lens on the image-most side of the front group positive lens group (GaP) and the Abbe's number, respectively, a conditional equation (1), Nan + 0.01 × νan < 2.15, is satisfied.
