Abstract:
An imaging system (1) comprises an imaging unit (10), a lens (12), and at least one translucent member (16). The translucent member (16) is disposed between the imaging unit (10) and the lens (12) and has a plane in the normal direction parallel to the optical axis of the lens (12). The translucent member (16) is superimposed on a part of the imaging surface of the imaging unit (10) when the imaging surface is viewed in the direction of the optical axis of the lens (12). The thickness of the translucent member (16) in the direction of the optical axis of the lens is adjusted to cause defocusing equivalent to an integral multiple of a distance corresponding to the depth of field of the lens (12).
