Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide an immunochromatography kit and method with which it is possible to detect mycobacterium tuberculosis specifically and with a high degree of sensitivity. The present invention provides an immunochromatography kit for detecting mycobacterium tuberculosis, including a labeling substance modified using a first antibody for lipoarabinomannan, a porous carrier having a reaction site holding a second antibody for lipoarabinomannan, a compound containing silver, and a reducing agent capable of reducing silver ions, wherein at least one of the first antibody and the second antibody is a monoclonal antibody.
