Abstract:
An air-conditioning duct for railway vehicles according to one embodiment of the present invention guides air supplied from an air-conditioning device mounted to a railway vehicle. This air-conditioning duct for railway vehicles is provided with: a duct wall forming a ventilation passage for guiding, in the vehicle longitudinal direction, the air supplied from the air-conditioning device; and a plurality of through holes that are arranged in the vehicle longitudinal direction and open in the duct wall as air outlets through which the air in the ventilation passage is blown out from the ventilation passage toward a compartment side, wherein the rate of the opening area of one of the through holes with respect to the area of one of a plurality of partial regions obtained by dividing the inner surface of a lower wall part in the vehicle longitudinal direction so that each of the plurality of partial regions includes a through hole in a plan view, is in the range of 2.0-7.5%.
