Abstract:
The present invention reduces the time required for a smoothing step performed through polishing, etc., so as to improve the efficiency in manufacturing, from molding to smoothing of an impeller. The impeller manufacturing method according to the present invention comprises a molding step S1 for molding an impeller 10 by thermal fusion laminate molding; and a chemical polishing step S2 for polishing a wall 15 that defines a flow channel 14 included in the impeller 10 by bringing a polishing liquid 21 into contact with the wall. In the chemical polishing step S2, fluidity is imparted to the polishing liquid 21 within the flow channel 14. In the chemical polishing step S2, it is preferable for the polishing liquid 21 within the flow channel 14 to be imparted with fluidity by using a device equipped with: a polishing liquid tank 22 for storing the polishing liquid 21 and housing the impeller 10 therein; a channel 23 through which the polishing liquid 21 held in the polishing liquid tank 22 is supplied under pressure; and a supply part 24 which constitutes a terminal end of the channel 23, and which supplies the polishing liquid 21 to an inlet port 141 of each of a plurality of channels 14.
