Abstract:
This impeller (18) is provided with a main shaft (22), which is provided so as to be rotatable about an axial center, and a blade (24), which is fixed to the main shaft (22), is driven by wind power or water power, and rotates about the axial center. The blade (24) has a straight portion (28), which extends in a direction that is parallel or perpendicular to the main shaft (22), and a blade tip portion (29), which extends from an end of the straight portion (28). In the blade tip portion (29), the shape of a cross-section obtained by cutting the blade tip portion (29) in a plane that includes the axial center of the main shaft (22) is formed in a shape that bifurcates into a first inclined portion (29a), which is inclined so as to separate to one side from the straight portion (28) from a base end toward a tip end, and a second inclined portion (29b), which is inclined so as to recede to the side opposite to the first inclined portion (29a) from the base end toward the tip end.
