Abstract:
A turbine rotor (18) is provided with a main shaft (22) rotatable about an axial center, and a blade (24) fastened to the main shaft (22) and driven by wind power or water power to rotate about the axial center. The blade (24) has a straight section (28) extending in the parallel or perpendicular direction with respect to the main shaft (22), and blade distal end sections (29) extending from the ends of the straight section (28). The blade distal end sections (29) are formed such that a cross section thereof, when cut in a plane including the axial center of the main shaft (22), is in a shape sloped in a multi-step fashion progressively further away from the straight section (28) from the basal end towards the distal end, or in a shape curved progressively further away from the straight section (28) from the basal end towards the distal end.
