Abstract:
This in-vehicle device is an in-vehicle updating device which acquires an updating program transmitted from an external server outside a vehicle and performs a process for updating a program of an in-vehicle ECU mounted to the vehicle, and the in-vehicle updating device comprises a control unit that performs a process regarding the updating program. When acquiring the updating program, the control unit acquires, from the external server, an operation confirmation scenario for confirming operation of a to-be-updated in-vehicle ECU, outputs the acquired updating program and operation confirmation scenario to the to-be-updated in-vehicle ECU, and performs, on the basis of the operation confirmation scenario, a process regarding the operation confirmation for the to-be-updated in-vehicle ECU.
