Abstract:
Disclosed is an induction cooking device with a standby mode which is a control mode that changes to a heating mode when a start heating key is operated. The induction cooking device comprises a control unit (11) which changes to the standby mode when scorch information is output during operation in the heating mode. When the device changes to the heating mode, a scorch detection unit (14) detects scorched food on the bottom of a cooking container (3) when the output voltage is smaller than a first output voltage or the rate of increase in the output voltage of an infrared sensor (13) is within a predetermined range, but does not perform scorch detection when the output voltage of the infrared sensor (13) is greater than the first output voltage, thereby enabling discrimination between scorching and normal use even during continuous cooking, and increasing user-friendliness.
