Abstract:

Provided is an information distribution device for effectively distributing information such as advertisements. The advertisement distribution system, upon predicting customer seating statuses such as hourly changes in seat occupancy rate, distributes advertisement information to prospective customers that can come to a store around the time when seats will become available. When seats are already available, a more advantageous discount rate or coupon is offered to prospective customers that are within a short traveling time to the store, thereby enabling the seat occupancy rate to recover in a short period of time by quickly filling the seats. However, because prospective customers that arrive after the predicted time of available seats do not contribute to the recovery of the seat occupancy rate, a less advantageous offer is made to such customers.
