Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide an information flow identification method, a network chip, and a network device. In the embodiments of the present application, an information flow is identified by using an on-chip memory in combination with an off-chip memory. First, the identification of a potential flow is performed by means of the advantage of a greater access bandwidth of the on-chip memory, such that the speed of identifying a potential flow can be improved. Second, only the potential flow, instead of all information flows, is further identified by means of the advantage of the larger storage space of the off-chip memory, such that the number of accesses to the off-chip memory can be reduced, thereby facilitating the improvement of the efficiency and accuracy of identifying a target flow.
