Abstract:
A server receives, from one home appliance inside a house, log information including the operating state of the one home appliance, receives information indicating the operating state of the one home appliance from another home appliance capable of monitoring the operating state of the one home appliance, and receives information about the location of a display terminal of a user of the home appliances from the display terminal. The server, upon determining that the location of the display terminal is within a prescribed distance from the house, and determining that the log information and the information indicating the operating state of the one home appliance do not match, supplies, in an interval while the location of the display terminal is within the prescribed distance from the house, information to the display terminal to the effect that the one home appliance may probably be operating erratically.
