Abstract:
This technique relates to an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, an information processing system and a program for allowing communication connections in two-way communications to be easily performed. A registration management unit (54) causes the user IDs of participants in each of a plurality of conferences to be stored, as a conference registration, in a management database (33). Conference room terminals (14) each use a conference room IC card reading unit (91) to read the user IDs of the IC cards (13) of users having entered the room and transmits, to a relay server (31), these user IDs together with the IP address of the conference room terminal (14). The registration management unit (54) retrieves, from among the conference registrations registered in the management database (33), a conference registration including the user IDs transmitted from conference room terminals (14), and registers the IP addresses thereof with the IP addresses being associated with the user IDs of the retrieved conference registration. Then, when a conference is started, a connection request processing unit (52) of the relay server (31) requests a two-way communication management server (35) to establish two-way communications of all the conference room terminals (14) of the IP addresses of all the user IDs registered in the same conference registration. This technique can be applied to a television conference system.
